Beets and beans, fall 2007

This is my puny row of beets with J's green beans next to it. Mixed in with the green beans are some pak choi plants, which no one likes except the caterpillars. I hope to get more beets growing yet this year, but I may be a couple months too late. Anyway, it is obvious that no one spends any time in the garden weeding any more.
