Still in a heat wave

Our high was 102 °F today. It's been about this hot quite often lately. I think there will be a break for a few days from this heat starting Wednesday. It hasn't rained much, either. I've got the sprinkler on my garden right now, trying to save my plants.

I've come down with a bad cold. I fell asleep this afternoon. Mostly we just sit around in the air conditioned house. It's too hot to go outside.

N had an orthodontist appointment this morning. Then we went to the library. Then the office, the post office, and the bank. That was our big adventure. Tomorrow we take Brenna to the vet's to get her annual shots.
